The history of Genghis Khan

Genghis Khan (1162–1227), born as Temujin, rose from humble beginnings to unite the Mongol tribes and establish the Mongol Empire, the largest contiguous empire in history. Through brilliant military strategy, diplomacy, and ruthless efficiency, he conquered vast territories across Asia and into Europe, including China, Central Asia, Persia, and parts of Russia. His leadership redefined warfare, promoted trade along the Silk Road, and implemented legal and administrative reforms that influenced civilizations for centuries. Despite his brutal conquests, he fostered religious tolerance and meritocracy, laying the foundation for a legacy that shaped the modern world.
